Kenneth Sokolov

Kenneth Sokolov partner Voted Super Lawyer, Mr. Sokolov has been practicing civil litigation for many years, with a special emphasis on defense of businesses in labor, civil rights, wage and hour, employment and contract disputes. Mr. Sokolov has litigated hundreds of cases in State and Federal Courts throughout Georgia and handled numerous appeals in the Georgia appellate courts and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He has substantial experience defending companies in arbitration and before administrative bodies, including the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity. Among his major clients are residential apartment communities, through which he has acquired substantial experience in landlord tenant and personal injury disputes. He established new law in Georgia regarding rights of first refusal in real estate contracts. Mr. Sokolov received his law degree from Emory University, Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics and undergraduate degree from Duke University. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in State and Federal Courts in Georgia.
