Prior to his legal career, he was a consecrated lay in the Catholic church where he held positions of leadership and studied theology and philosophy. In 2002, he left his religious life and immigrated to the United States to start a new life. Eduardo graduated from Florida International University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2008 and his Juris Doctor Degree in 2011. After graduation, he worked for large and medium civil litigation firms before opening his own practice in February 2013. Initially focused on immigration, his experience expanded to plaintiff civil litigation, including handling large consumer class actions in state and federal court.
