Mathew M. Ries

Matt is a member of the firm and practices in the Business & Employment group. He focuses his practice on employment litigation, business litigation, business transactions, general corporate law and public sector defense. Matt advises businesses and works closely with his clients to navigate through complex litigation and business matters to achieve positive and cost-effective results. He has extensive experience representing clients in both state and federal courts on wrongful termination/employment discrimination matters as well as structuring and negotiating business transactions. Matt was recognized in 2014, 2015 and 2016 as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star, an award given to no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Ohio. Matt is also actively involved in the Mahoning Valley community where he was born. In 2015 he was a recipient of the Ohio State Bar Foundation Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under.
