Justin A. Moore

Justins work has garnered national media attention in People Magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time, NBCs Today Show, CBS Evening News, ABCs Nightly News, BBC, CNN, Fox News, BET, Dr. Phil and The ROOT. Justin served as a prosecutor at the Dallas County District Attorneys office prior to establishing his private practice, which focuses on criminal law, civil rights litigation, prisoner clemency, police brutality cases, sports contract negotiation and campaign management. Justin is licensed in Texas and has Federal licenses in the United States Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas, United States District of Colorado and the Northern District of Illinois, and his cases involve a variety of complex legal issues from civil rights, commercial disputes, and criminal law. In 2020 he was listed as a member of the Top 40 under 40 and the Top 100 for The National Black Lawyers. He is a member of the BMW Foundation World Responsible Leaders Network. Justin serves as a board member for the prestigious Dallas Institute of Humanities, The Marcus Garvey Institute for Human Development, serves as Chair for the Stafford Moore supported pro-bono organization The Liberation Fund and he is a partner for Social Venture Partners Dallas. Justin is a first-generation lawyer and hails from Texas. He received a philosophy degree from the HBCU Morehouse college, studied human rights law at University College at Oxford University in Oxford, U. K., and received his juris doctorate from SMUs Dedman School of Law. He speaks regularly and is internationally known for his civil rights and social justice work.
