Background and Experiences Joel Beck was born in Rahway NJ, and grew up in South Florida. After an internship with the Broward County Public Defenders Office, Mr. Beck spent 12 years as a criminal defense attorney, litigating cases almost every day. Upon relocating to Nevada in 2012, Mr. Beck shifted his practice to concentrate on civil litigation including personal injury and real estate matters. Mr. Beck has served as a foreclosure trustee. Mr. Beck has appeared several times as a featured guest on radio shows discussing legal topics. Education Mr. Beck earned a BBA in Marketing from Florida International University in 1991. Mr. Beck received his MBA from Florida Atlantic University in 1995. Mr. Beck received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad School of Law in 1995. Mr. Beck was a member of Nova Southeasterns inter-mural negotiation competition team. Mr. Beck is admitted to the bar in Florida and Nevada. Mr. Beck is also admitted to the Federal Bar in Nevada.
