Professional Experience Ms. Barnes has had the pleasure of heading the real estate practice at Cable Huston for over 15 years, focusing on commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing, as well as other asset-based transactions, and other real estate and business contracts. Scope of Practice Drafting and negotiating documentation for real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including Section 1031 exchanges; and other real estate documents; drafting and negotiating commercial, retail, industrial, and cell tower leases and representing landlords and tenants in various commercial lease transactions; drafting and negotiating docu­mentation for asset based lending and closings; forming and negotiating documentation for business entities and tenancy in common ownership structures; facilitating mergers, acquisitions and all related documentation, drafting and negotiating buy-sell agreements between business partners; drafting and negotiating development and construction agreements between owners, project managers, contractors and subcontractors and drafting and negotiating other real estate and business contracts in diverse situations.
