About

EXPERIENCED TRIAL ATTORNEY Jasons previous legal service as a public defender and Deschutes County Deputy District Attorney gave him first hand experience with both sides of the justice system - driving home the way that our laws impact the lives of Oregonians every day. Jason is an experienced trial attorney with over 20 years of fighting for justice in our courtrooms. Early in his career he served as a public defender in Multnomah and Deschutes County, and then served 15 years as a Deputy District Attorney in Deschutes County. Much of Jasons work has involved standing up for children who have been subjected to abuse and neglect and survivors of domestic violence. Jason knows how important each case is and how much of a difference it makes to have an experienced attorney by your side. COMMUNITY ADVOCATE A 4th generation Oregonian, Jason has been fortunate enough to call Bend his home since 2003. His commitment to the legal profession and his home in Central Oregon, have led him to serve on a number of boards including helping children in crisis on the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Central Oregon board, and working to protect and provide access to our open spaces on the Bend Park and Recreation Board. Jason has served as an elected member of the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates and currently serves as State Representative for House District 54 in Bend. JASONS LEGAL EDUCATION Jason is a proud product of Oregon public education. After finishing his high school education at Molalla Union High School, he went on to do his undergraduate work at Oregon State University. In 1996, he graduated from University of Oregon School of Law.
