Raife R. Neuman

Raife is an Oregonian who grew up in Portland. He is dedicated to the City, State, and Northwest region as national leaders in sustainable growth and business development, and tries to play a small part in spurring this growth. Raife earned a Bachelors of Arts in the Liberal Arts from The Great Books School St. Johns College, in Santa Fe, NM. After working in the college administration for four years as first the Registrar and then the Assistant Director of Admissions, he returned from the desert to attend Lewis and Clark Law School, where he earned his juris doctorate with a certificate in environmental law. Raife was a Business Roundtable Scholar, an inductee into the Cornelious Honor Society for contributions to the community, and graduated cum laude. Before founding Intelekia Law Group Raife built a solo law practice specializing in business formations and contracts, tenants rights, and general civil litigation. His practice is now focused on real property and contract litigation, complementing and informing transactional work and advising for business owners, landowners or buyers, and tenants. While Raife has worked with a variety of businesses, he was worked especially closely with naturopathic doctors and other medical providers, including in disciplinary actions before the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine. Raife was named a Rising Star in Super Lawyers Magazine in Real Estate and Civil Litigation from 2014-2019, and was recognized as a full-fledged Super Lawyers Super Lawyer in 2020. Raife is strongly compelled to serve the community he came from, and is the former co-chair of the Oregon New Lawyers Division of the State Bar Pro Bono Subcommittee, the former chair of the Service to the Public Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the Multnomah Bar, and was honored as the Oregon New Lawyers Division Volunteer of the Year in 2010. Raife also co-founded the African Youth and Community Organization, now All Youth Community Organization, a Portland-area non-profit that provides educational and athletic opportunities to immigrant and refugee children and social and community services for immigrant families.
