About
Steve Milbrath leads Accels Litigation Practice in Intellectual Property and Commercial Law. Steve litigates cases on Infringement of IP rights, Antitrust Law and the wide range of Business Disputes. With over 40 years of experience as a trial lawyer he brings his clients diverse experience in both the federal and state court systems. He also routinely represents clients in Arbitration and Mediation proceedings. In addition to patent, trademark, trade secret theft and copyright cases, Steve has been lead counsel in many other trial and appellate matters involving complex technologies before the Federal Courts. Steve has tried all phases of patent and trademark litigations and has argued patent appeals before the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. In summary, Steve has assisted hundreds of business owners, entrepreneurs, executives and other stakeholders with successfully protecting their businesses, including their important inventions and trade secrets. He has also achieved considerable success protecting the rights and interests of his commercial clients in a wide range of complex business-related disputes and fraud cases. Steve is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in both Business Litigation and Intellectual Property Law. He holds an AV-Preeminent peer review-rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He routinely counsels clients in business transactions and IP practice areas, including violation of copyright and trademark rights, non-competition and trade secret matters. Steve began his career as the Law Clerk to the Chief Judge of the Middle District of Florida and then served as an Assistant United States Attorney during which time he prosecuted white collar criminal cases. He has also served as an adjunct member of the faculty of the University of Floridas Levin Law Center and served as guardian ad litem for the Orange County Bar Association, advocating for the rights of dependent children in the local court system. Steve is based in the firms Orlando Office. He is available to represent clients throughout both the state courts of Florida and all Districts in the Federal Court system.
