David Barnhill

David Barnhill is a civil trial attorney who concentrates solely in the practice of first-party property insurance litigation, including bad faith. David exclusively represents homeowners, business owners, and other policyholders throughout the state of Florida. David has successfully tried cases to verdict involving sinkhole, wind, water, vandalism, theft, and other associated perils. David frequently lectures on issues involving first-party property insurance and claim adjusting practices. David has been selected to Super Lawyers Rising Star list, which is an accolade given to no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the State of Florida. A native of Florida, David graduated towards the top of his class at Stetson University College of Law where he was invited to join the Stetson Law Review. David served as the Articles & Symposia Editor of the Stetson Law Review and was an Executive Board Member for the National Conference of Law Reviews. David graduated from Stetsons Honors Program and served as the President of Phi Delta Phi International Honors Fraternity. David is actively involved in the community where he is a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, plays basketball in the Tampa Law League, and was a member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training.
