About
Throughout his twenty plus year legal career, Jason S. Weiss concentrated his practice in the areas of commercial/business litigation and sports and entertainment law. He also is brought in by co- counsel to negotiate deal breaker areas of contention in business deals. He has dealt with matters involving Breach of Contract, Tortious Interference with Business Relationships, Title, ADA, Property, Non-Compete clauses, TCPA, Commercial and Residential Landlord Tenant matters, Partnership Disputes, Trade Secrets, Real Estate litigation and other various business-related matters. Jason serves as a legal advisor to professional athletes, performers and entertainers in all aspects of their professional and personal activities. Mr. Weiss is also involved in E-sports and sports apparel businesses. Jason is also a business coach and consultant who founded Ask Jason Weiss where he helps attorneys in all aspects of their individual legal paths. Jasons love of sports law took him into academia as a former adjunct professor of Sports Law at Nova Southeastern School of Law and, as both a former adjunct professor of the graduate level course Sports Law at St. Thomas University. As a father and husband, when Jason is not on a phone call, you can find him pacing the sidelines at his sons lacrosse games or watching his daughter perform on stage at a dance recital. He spends quality time with his wife in their garden growing wonderful herbs, fruits and vegetables. He is also published and the Best-Selling author of $hit They Never Taught You in Law School. Jason graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, in 2000, and received his B. A from the University of Florida with Honors in 1997. Not only is Jason admitted to practice law in Florida, he is also licensed to practice in the Courts of the District of Columbia, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the Northern, Southern and Central Districts of Illinois, the Western District of Tennessee, the Colorado District Court, the Western District of New York, the Northern District of Indiana, the Western District of Wisconsin, the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western and Districts of Texas and, the Nebraska District Court.
