- John C. Ingram, Jr. 92, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Effingham Extended Care. The Savannah native was a retired Attorney and a member of Springfield United Methodist Church. He was a U. S. Marine Corp veteran whom served during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. Ingram and Gussie Tillman; and wife, Elsie Wallace Ingram. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Jenny Wallace of Guyton; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Guyton Cemetery. Remembrances may be given to Springfield United Methodist Church Missions Fund, P. O. Box 237, Springfield, GA 31329. Thomas C.
