Peter C. Focks

Mac McCarty James H (Mac) McCarty, Jr. graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in History, and later both a J.D and an M.B.A. from UF. He is a Past President of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association Board of Directors and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Mac is a founding member of McCarty Focks, PLLC, and the founder of predecessor firm McCarty, Naim, Focks & Keeter P.A., in Gainesville. In addition, he has substantial experience in the corporate world, working in business acquisition, business development, and contracting. He is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Real Estate and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. His practice is centered on real estate and business-related law. Mac and his wife, Teresa, live in Alachua. Mac has served on the Board of Directors of STOP Children’s Cancer, Inc. and on the Charity Golf Classic Committee for many years.
