Benny Ortiz

Benny A. Ortiz is an Associate with Greenspoon Marder, concentrating his practice in secured creditor rights and related real estate litigation. As a trial attorney, Mr. Ortiz has attended more than 90 non-jury trials and successfully secured judgments in favor of his clients in excess of $50M. He is well versed in all aspects of residential foreclosure and has represented the nation's largest financial institutions, banks and servicers. Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder, Mr. Ortiz's practice spanned commercial and residential transactional law, shared-use community law, title, trademark and pharmaceutical litigation. Mr. Ortiz holds a Bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Boston University College of Arts and Sciences in International Relations as well as a Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law. He was awarded a half-tuition merit scholarship to Boston University School of Law and was a participant in the Edward C.
