Kerry began her career as an attorney at Collins & Jones and has since built one of the premier estate planning practices in the Cass County area. Her practice is focused primarily on estate planning and administration of decedent estates. Kerry is skilled at transforming what can be a daunting and emotional task of planning for or administering a persons affairs into manageable steps and guides families through the planning or administration process with efficiency and compassion. Kerry also practices in the areas of real estate and business. In these areas, she handles a wide variety of matters, including business formation, purchase and sale transactions, and negotiation of franchise agreements. Kerry grew up in Harrisonville, Missouri. She graduated from Missouri State University, summa cum laude, in 2011 and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate, also summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2015. While in law school, Kerry served as the Managing Editor for The Urban Lawyer and was awarded the Joseph E. Stevens, Jr. Memorial Prize and the West Publishing Company Award for Outstanding Scholarly Accomplishment, both recognizing her achievements in legal writing. In 2024, Kerry graduated from Villanova University with a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL. M) and an Estate Planning Certificate. Kerry earned this degree with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Kerry decided to pursue obtaining the LL. M out of a desire to further expand and enhance her estate planning skills for high-net worth clients.
