Andrew T. Smith

bio Andrew T. Smith is a workers compensation defense attorney in the firms Charleston, South Carolina office. He earned his B. A. from the College of Charleston, and his J. D., summa cum laude, from the Charleston School of Law. Andrew served as the student works editor for the Charleston Law Review. Andrew handles a wide variety of workers compensation claims. He is admitted to practice in state and federal court in South Carolina and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Andrew is also a member of the South Carolina Workers Compensation Educational Association. Andrew grew up in Easley, South Carolina. From 2008 to 2012, Andrew served as an infantryman in the United States Marine Corps, including a combat deployment in Afghanistan in 2011. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and watching college football.
