Margaret Ann Skelton

For over 25 years, Margaret has been a trusted advisor and advocate, helping clients navigate complex labor and employment, school law, and municipal law challenges. Margaret is known for her sharp negotiation skills and ability to craft practical solutions. She represents management in grievance arbitrations, interest arbitrations, and collective bargaining and brings extensive trial experience, having litigated cases before juries in state and federal courts. Margaret has also made her mark at the appellate level, arguing before the Minnesota Supreme Court, Minnesota Court of Appeals and Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Before joining the firm, Margaret honed her litigation skills defending a major metropolitan city against a variety of lawsuits. That experience shaped her direct approach and dedication to protecting her clients interests. When shes not in the office or courtroom, Margaret loves spending time on the water, waterskiing, hitting the trails for a hike with her family or watching the Minnesota Wild.
