A. Timothy defends workers compensation, personal injury and other claims, and he advises governmental, corporate, and non-profit employers regarding strate­gies to minimize claims and reduce losses. For more than 30 years, he has established an impressive track record of efficiently resolving claims that arise from accidents, injuries, occupational disease, and disputes that occur at the workplace or any location. Tim graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School and Concordia College of Moorhead, Minnesota where he studied business and economics. He is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota, and American Bar Associations, and is a past chair of the Workers Compensation and Employer Liability section of the American Bar Association. In 2018, Tim joined a small handful of Minnesota lawyers elected to the College of Workers Compensation Lawyers. As a frequent lecturer, Tim regularly delivers seminars concerning workers compensation law with increased emphasis on providing education concerning complex occupational disease claims (including heart disease, cancer, and PTSD), risk management, subrogation recovery strategies, civil litigation, and the interaction of workers compensation law with negligence and employment issues.
