Mr. Roberts, a former Assistant State Attorney also practices criminal defense in State and Federal court. Mr. Roberts graduated from Baruch College in New York City (CUNY) in 1990 with a degree in Finance and Investments (Bachelor of Business Administration). Roberts, Esq. Attorney at Law Gary A. Roberts, Esq. In 1992, he moved to Tallahassee, Florida to attend Florida State University College of Law and received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1995. During law school Attorney Roberts worked as an intern in the Public Defenders Office in Philadelphia, PA, the General Counsels Office at Florida A&M University, and in the State Attorneys Office for the Second Judicial Circuit. He also served as Vice President of the Black Law Students Association. Upon graduating from law school, Attorney Roberts was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1995 and the Federal Bar for the Northern District of Florida in August of 1998 and the Federal Bar for the Middle District of Florida 2007. Upon becoming a member of the Florida Bar, Attorney Roberts began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney (prosecutor) with the State Attorneys Office for Second Judicial Circuit serving Leon County, Florida. He left that position and began his private law practice career as an associate with the law firm Knowles & Randolph, which later became known as Knowles, Marks, and Randolph of Tallahassee, FL. Attorney Roberts then ventured out and started the law firm of Roberts & Giddings, LLC, in 1999. He started a solo practice career as Gary A. Roberts & Associates, LLC, in 2000; and, in September of 2010, attorney Bruce R. Meeks, joined him to form the law firm of Roberts & Meeks, P. L. After, Mr. Meeks resigned to take a position as the Inspector General for Citizen Insurance; the firm went back to its pervious name Gary A. Roberts & Associates, LLC. Mr. Roberts practices primarily Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. Attorney Roberts has had cases featured nationally on the CBS documentary 48 hours and Court TV involving the trial of NFL player charged with guns and gambling. Attorney Roberts is an excellent trial attorney who has tried civil and criminal cases in federal court, circuit court, juvenile court and county court. Our firm has serviced seriously injured clients all across the State of Florida. Attorney Roberts was a Traffic Hearing Officer (THO) in Leon County, FL for approximately 14 years. He is currently the City Attorney for Quincy, FL and he is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Tiffani N. Brown, Esq. Attorney Tiffani N. Brown - Attorney Brown is a passionate advocate who received her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in Criminology while also playing Varsity Softball. While a student athlete she helped lead her team back to the Womens College World Series after a 10-year drought. Tiffani was afforded the opportunity to compete amongst the best athletes and has used her student athlete experience to help shape her professional life. Tiffani is an avid FSU Softball Alumni and Supporter as she is forever indebted to FSU and FSU Softball. Attorney Brown, began as an intern with Gary A. Roberts & Associates, LLC in January 2013, and after graduating from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2017, with honors, and after admittance to the Florida Bar in May of 2018, she returned as an associate attorney with Gary Roberts and the Baker Law Firm, P. A. In 2020, Attorney Browns growth continued as launched Tiffani N. Brown Law, PLLC where she handled Family Law matters, criminal defense, sealing and expungement and civil litigation disputes. In 2022, Attorney Brown transitioned to a Real Estate Law Firm as the supervising attorney handling a variety of real estate litigation matters to include Homeowners Association disputes, Quiet Title Actions, Landlord - Tenant Disputes and Evictions, Adversarial Probate Proceedings, Property Insurance Disputes, Mortgage Foreclosure Defense and Representation for Surplus Recovery. Attorney Brown has since re-joined Gary Roberts & Associates as a Florida Realtor and adding on a Real Estate Division where she will manage real estate disputes, civil litigation issues, personal injury, simple wills and health directives, mortgage foreclosure defense, and representation of homeowners or agents in foreclosure surplus proceedings. In her spare time, she enjoys reading personal growth books, travelling, listening to podcasts, shopping, engaging in some form of self-care, creating memories with her family and friends, and most importantly spending quality time with her sons.
