She is admitted to practice in Florida and Mississippi. With more than a decade defending some of the countrys most well-known consumer brands and retailers, as well as owners and managers of single-family, multifamily, and HUD properties, Katina has significant experience in premises liability claims ranging from slip-and-fall injuries to negligent security matters involving personal injury and property damages. In addition, Katina represents some of the countrys top mortgage lenders in foreclosure matters along with representing residential and commercial landlords in landlord tenant matters involving 3-day and 7-day notices, fair housing complaints, code enforcement issues, and Florida Building Code compliance. She analyzes lease provisions and advises on enforcement, provides risk management services, handles matters involving homeowner association compliance, and prosecutes evictions for a variety of reasons including nonpayment of rent and other substantial lease violations. Katinas practice also focuses on the defense of general liability claims including, but not limited to, breach of contract and motor vehicle negligence claims involving bodily injury, wrongful death, and UM/UIM claims. Katinas clients appreciate her collaborative approach to the practice of law and her creative and malleable outlook on litigation strategy and problem solving. With her extensive base of experience, Katina is well equipped to provide expert counsel on a broad range of issues her clients face.
