Victor Vancamp

Victor T. Van Camp is an experienced litigator who joined Secrest Wardles Troy office in 2024. He is a member of the Firms Commercial and Business Law, Construction, General Negligence, Insurance Coverage, Motor Vehicle Litigation, Premises Liability, Product Liability, and Trucking and Commercial Vehicle Litigation practice groups. Mr. Van Camps practice includes all areas of commercial and personal injury litigation with an emphasis on complex product liability, insurance coverage, automobile negligence, construction and breach of contract/indemnity matters. Mr. Van Camp graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor from the Wayne State University School of Law. Mr. Van Camp is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan, the United States District Court, Eastern and Western Districts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigans Negligence Law Section. Mr. Van Camp has been awarded an AV Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell and was voted a 2010 Top Lawyer by the Detroit Business Journal. In addition, he was selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer in 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2017. Mr. Van Camp is also the author of several publications and presentations for the Defense Research Institute (DRI), Insurance Institute of Michigan and other organizations.
