I eventually left practicing in Baton Rouge and made it back home to Razorback land in Fort Smith, AR where I have practiced since 2006. Yes, I did indeed go to games with the LSU Tiger fans while in Baton Rouge, but no, I never betrayed my beloved Razorbacks. In fact, I proudly wore Arkansas gear to football and basketball games at LSU. Sorry, I digressed. As far as my practice, I started out in complex commercial and civil litigation, focusing on finding seemingly impossible solutions in varying types of cases. I strive to position my clients case in as strong a leverage point as possible through procedural maneuvers, pre-trial motions and appellate practice. One of my partners had referred to me as the book lawyer and I thoroughly enjoy that part of my practice. Through the years, my practice has evolved into me being a trial lawyer; so now I get to both prepare the trial record and do the appellate work, if it is needed. Read less
