Michael Spisak

Biography Mike Spisak specializes in representing employers in workers compensation and employment litigation. While still in law school, he gained valuable insights working as a hearing representative for a Third-Party Administrator. With over 30 years of experience, Mike has defended employers in more than 15,000 workers compensation hearings across every Industrial Commission office in Ohio. He is well-versed in VSSR and employment litigation, successfully representing clients in jury trials and various courts of appeals. Mike resides in Brunswick Hills with his wife, enjoying golf, travel, and cheering for the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. A dedicated Freemason and Shriner, he actively volunteers to support Shriners Hospitals for Children. Results Successfully defended company in sexual harassment claim. Obtained Summary Judgment in U. S. District Court and successfully defended on appeal before the 6th Circuit U. S. Court of Appeals. Successfully defended company in wrongful termination/retaliation claim.
