John Wayne Higgins

Higgins, John Wayne John Wayne Higgins passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2021 at the age of 77. John was born in Nashville, TN and moved with his parents, grandmother, and three brothers to Albuquerque in 1945. He is a graduate of Valley High School, UNM, and Oklahoma City University School of Law. John was an exceptionally gifted and talented lawyer, having practiced law for 48 years, primarily with the Law Office of Higgins Mescall and Lee. John is survived by his children Madeline Kim Scates, Susan Rebecca Higgins, John Frank Higgins, brother James Bernard Higgins, five grandchildren: Austin, Emily and Ben Scates, Preston Goldwag, Frank Higgins, and multiple nieces and nephews.
