Danielle Tarmu

Bio Danielle Tarmu, Esq. was born and raised in Las Vegas, and earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration and Finance at UNLV in 2005 while working in the service industry in restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip. Danielle went to law school at UNLVs William S. Boyd School of Law; was a member of the Nevada Law Journal; and earned her juris doctor degree in 2009. That same year, she became licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada and the U. S. District Court, District of Nevada. After completing her legal education, she worked in general liability defense for a year, giving her insight into how insurance companies and defense law firms operate. In 2010, Danielle was recruited by and joined one of the most prestigious trial law firms in the country in the field of personal injury and has been passionately representing plaintiffs ever since. She has focused her career on litigation and representing people who have been wronged by catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, product liability, insurance bad faith, unfair claims practices, sexual assault, and medical malpractice. Danielle takes the time to talk to her clients and passionately litigates on their behalf. She analyzes each case separately and uniquely; develops and implements aggressive litigation strategy; and uses discovery tactics, motions, and other legal briefs to increase case values and encourage settlement. She is also an experienced trial lawyer who is not afraid to take her cases to trial. Danielles focus on analysis and legal writing has earned her a strong reputation in the Nevada legal community as an aggressive litigator who will not back down or undervalue cases. Danielle earned the distinction of being named as one of Nevada Business Magazines Legal Elite when the legal community voted her as one of the Best Up and Coming Attorneys in 2015 and one of Nevadas Top Attorneys in 2015, 2016, and 2017. In 2016, she was named by The National Trial Lawyers organization as one of the Top 40 Under 40 lawyers in Nevada, and in the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers in the country. Danielle has authored several articles in The Advocate legal journal and presents continuing legal education seminars for attorneys to assist in their law practice and representing injured victims. Danielle is a member of the Nevada Justice Association, Clark County Bar Association, State Bar of Nevada, and the American Association for Justice. She is also an active volunteer in the Las Vegas legal community. She represented children pro bono for the Childrens Attorney Project at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada from 2009 to 2015, and volunteers frequently at mock trial competitions for college and law school students. In her free time, Danielle enjoys reading books, writing fiction, spending time with her pup, traveling, and scuba diving.
