Lauren Linn Graham

Lauren Graham is motivated to stand up for vulnerable people who need strength on their side. While still in law school in St. Louis, Missouri, Lauren served as a clerk in the federal public defenders office in St. Louis. After earning her Juris Doctorate, she began her career as a public defender in Missouri, representing clients charged with state crimes including DWI, drug offenses, assaults, sex crimes, and a variety of other offenses. In her time as a public defender, Lauren had the opportunity to defend many clients in jury trials. The fast pace of work in the public defenders office meant that she spent a lot of time in court and developed a keen understanding of how prosecutors approach cases—and just what her clients were up against. That understanding fueled her determination to protect her clients rights. Following her time in the public defenders office, Lauren returned to her native Arkansas. She worked in the Domestic Justice workgroup of Legal Aid of Arkansas, helping clients with family law matters and Orders of Protection. Armed with the valuable experience she had gained from years as a public defender and Legal Aid attorney, Lauren decided it was time to open her own law practice: The Graham Law Firm PLLC, located in Paragould, Arkansas. Situated near the border of Arkansas and Missouri, Lauren continues to protect the rights of criminal defense and family law clients in both states. As owner of her law firm, Lauren is able to continue standing up for clients against injustice, and to devote to her clients as much time and attention as their matters require. Colleagues have praised Laurens preparedness, attention to detail, hard work, and perseverance on behalf of her clients. Clients appreciate that she puts them first, listening to their goals and working toward their objectives. Lauren considers it a priority to listen to and empower her clients. Lauren enjoys criminal law and family law because these practice areas allow her to advocate for people in a way that directly affects their lives. Many of Laurens clients have no one else in their corner; she is often the only person standing between them and a system seemingly stacked against them. According to Lauren, The most satisfying part of what I do is helping a client achieve a not-guilty verdict or regain custody of their children. A court case can stop someones life in its tracks; my goal is to give my clients the help they need to move towards their future.
