James R. Rey

James and his family have committed themselves to renovating and restoring their newly acquired properties and are dedicated to the movements being made to revitalize the entire downtown area. James is one of the founding board members of the El Paso Community Foundation Plaza Theatre project. He has a passion for El Paso and the success of this community. On a more personal note, James is known throughout the country for his achievements in tennis. He was the 1992 High School State Tennis Champion while playing at Coronado High School. He went on to become a four-year letter winner for Men’s Tennis at the University of Arizona. In 1994, he made the Pac-10 Conference Men’s Tennis All-Academic First Team. James still enjoys playing competitive tennis and spending time with his family.
