M. Tracton

I am Michael D. Tracton, founding attorney of the Tracton Law Firm, PLLC. During a career that has spanned more than 40 years, I have helped thousands of people in southeast Texas get their lives back on track following divorce. My staff and I work in conjunction to provide our clients the best possible legal service. We emphasize client communication by assigning a legal assistant to every case so our clients always have someone to reach out to. My extensive negotiation and mediation experience assures my clients that I will work to resolve their issues in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. However, I also am an experienced litigator who is always prepared to protect my clients interests in court if a fair agreement cannot be reached during negotiations. I am a third-generation attorney who has been recognized since 2011 in H Magazine as one of the Top Family Lawyers and since 2012 as one of the Top Lawyers in Houston. I am also the Founding Director and Current Director for Family Bar of Fort Bend. I have raised seven children of my own, some biological, some stepchildren, and some adopted.
