Jason A. Weiner

Jason A. Weiner, one of the founders of Gazewood & Weiner PC, has been skillfully representing clients in Fairbanks, Alaska and the surrounding area for many years. Mr. Weiner has experience in a wide range of legal areas, including family law, criminal law and personal injury. He understands the needs of each and every client and prides himself on always obtaining the best possible result. A graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, Mr. Weiner is licensed to practice in Alaska, New Jersey and New York. After moving to Alaska from the East Coast, he gained valuable experience working as a law clerk for Judge Niesje J. Steinkruger of Alaskas 4th Judicial District. Later, he held a position as an associate at the Fairbanks law firm of Clapp, Peterson & Stowers and spent three years as a prosecutor for the Fairbanks district attorney. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Weiner is active in numerous professional organizations. He has served as the president of the Alaska Bar Association and sat on the organizations board of governors. He is also a former president of the Tanana Valley Bar Association. Mr. Weiner has served as a representative and treasurer for Alaskas 4th Judicial District and is a member of the American Association for Justice. Mr. Weiner also gives back to the public by participating in a variety of community organizations.
