David A. Kelly

David Kelly is a founding member and partner of Kelly, Reed, & Jansen LLC. His focus practice areas are major criminal law, felony law, family law & civil litigation. A magna cum laude graduate of Kansas State University David considers himself a lifelong learner also graduating from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Prior to founding Kelly, Reed & Jansen, David acted as Jackson County Prosecutor for 5 years. David feels this experience helps him in the courtroom on a daily basis. In addition to Davids long resume he has 25+ years law experience and has been involved in 30+ jury trials throughout his tenure. When Mr. Kelly is not winning cases in the courtroom or solving client problems you can find him cheering on Sporting KC or the Kansas City Chiefs. David could also be found completing DIY home renovation projects or his favorite, reading mystery & historical fiction books.
