About

Gregg has returned to Lowther Johnson, after serving as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts. While proving to be a successful litigator and leader during his first tenure with Lowther Johnson, Gregg was asked to guide the John Q. Hammons enterprise through a myriad of bet-the-company litigation and bankruptcy where ultimately all allowed claims of creditors, both secured and unsecured, were paid in full-an extreme rarity in bankruptcy cases. Greggs leadership ability was recently recognized when he was selected by Missouri Lawyers Media as a 2023 Top Managing Partner. As a trial attorney and litigator, Gregg assists and guides individuals and businesses with their legal needs. Greggs civil and trial practice includes personal injury and wrongful death cases, personal and business litigation, complex litigation, labor and employment, probate and real estate matters. Greggs proven success as an effective litigator with outstanding judgment has earned him an excellent reputation in the legal community. Gregg is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a group whose membership is limited to those attorneys who have obtained a final judgment, award or settlement in favor of their client in an amount of two million dollars or more. Gregg has been awarded with Martindale-Hubbells prestigious AV rating, a rating conducted by other attorneys and reflective of preeminence and the highest level of professional excellence. He has also been included in Missouri Super Lawyers magazine. Gregg has also served as an adjunct professor in both Missouri State Universitys Department of Finance and General Business as well as in the Communications Department. Most recently, Gregg has taught an upper level and graduate level course in Employment Law and Discrimination. Gregg feels blessed to have the opportunity to serve the legal needs of individuals and businesses in Missouri. ADMISSIONSAdmitted in 1988, Missouri, U. S. District Court, Western District of Missouri and U. S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit
