Profile Matthew (Matt) Koehler handles a range of litigation matters throughout the Midwest in arbitration, and state and federal courts in Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas. Matt primarily represents firm clients in the construction industry, including insurers, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals (architects, engineers, and professional land surveyors) in disputes involving construction defects, disbursement of escrow funds, project delays, insurance coverage and mechanics liens. He also represents clients in drafting and negotiating construction contracts. Matt also routinely handles commercial disputes (contractual claims) and fiduciary claims for business executives (D&O claims) in state, federal district courts and bankruptcy courts. He has extensive experience handling professional malpractice matters brought against accountants, lawyers, and title agents.
