Received degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 1979. Attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois and graduated with honors in 1981. Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the State of Missouri since 1982. Admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois as well as the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Argued cases in the trial and appellate courts for both the State of Missouri and the State of Illinois including the Illinois Supreme Court. He has also tried cases in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and Eastern District of Missouri. Argued before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis, Missouri. Member of the Bar Associations for the State of Missouri and Illinois, as well as the local Bar Associations for Cape Girardeau County, Missouri and Alexander-Pulaski County, Illinois. Member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
