John Andrew Tyrrell

John was raised on the family dairy/beef farm with his brother Evan. His parents are Larry and Reta Tyrrell. John and his wife Jaime live in Mountain Grove and have three wonderful children Morgan, Jack and Lincoln. John graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1998. He then went to Southwest Missouri State University (Missouri State) and graduated with a degree in Crime and Society. John enrolled at University of Tulsa School of Law. After graduation, John has been a practicing attorney licensed in Missouri since September of 2004. Johns professional career began at the Greene County Prosecutors Office in Springfield, MO. There John handled the Associate Court Docket which included traffic, misdemeanor and felony offenses. In 2006, John left the Greene County Prosecutors Office to serve as the Webster County Assistant Prosecutor in Marshfield, MO. John handled or assisted in all cases from traffic to felonies. At both Greene and Webster Counties, John tried jury trials achieving successful convictions. John left the Webster County Prosecutors Office to work as an associate in the firm Replogle and Berkstresser, LLC in 2009 which is located in Marshfield, MO. There he built a successful criminal defense and domestic relations practice dealing with child custody and divorce. John became a partner renaming the law firm Replogle, Tyrrell, and Robertson, LLC. John was elected the Wright County Prosecutor in the November 2018 general election and took office on January 1, 2019. John is the only prosecutor in the office and handles all cases traffic, misdemeanor and felony. John also serves as the county attorney providing legal advice in contracts and issues that the County may face including legal advice to officials of Wright County in their elected official capacities. I love being the prosecutor of Wright County. I was raised here and I am raising my family here. To contribute to the betterment of this County by providing fair yet tough prosecution to protect families, including mine, is a blessing.
