Mark Ruiz

Mark A. Ruiz Attorney / Owner Mark Ruiz specializes in Wills & Trusts, Probate, Trust Administration, Real Estate Law, and Business Law, and is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker. He grew up in San Carlos and attended Woodside Priory School in Silicon Valley. Mark went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Business/Marketing from Santa Clara University and a Law Degree with a Business Law Certificate from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Over the years, he has assisted more than 1,500 individuals, families, and businesses in a range of legal matters. Mark is an active member of the legal and civic community and speaks English, Spanish, and elementary Mandarin Chinese. He volunteered in the Probate Department of the San Mateo County Superior Court, assisting with probate matters, and worked with the Judicial Council of California to assist landlords in unlawful detainer (eviction) proceedings and settlement conferences. He contributes to the community as an Attorney Fee Dispute Arbitrator with the Sacramento County Bar Association and as a Board member of the Carmichael Improvement District. In 2011, Mark founded the Law Offices of Mark Ruiz in Redwood City. Since then, the firm has expanded from its Silicon Valley base to include an office in the Sacramento region, reflecting his commitment to serving both the Bay Area and Northern California. In 2019, Mark and his family chose to make their home in Carmichael, close to his wifes family. They enjoy the communitys riverfront trails, the American River Parkway, and the historic Ancil Hoffman golf course, as well as weekend trips to Tahoe and the Coast.
