About
At Wheeling Jesuit, Mrs. White was tapped for Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honorary Society, the highest honor accorded to students at Jesuit universities. She was also inducted into Alpha Phi Sigma, the Criminal Justice Honor Society, and won the Outstanding Senior Criminal Justice Award for earning the highest GPA in her major. She earned the Gloriam Award for Leadership, Service and Academic Excellence. Mrs. White was active in Wheeling Jesuit student government, chairing the Student Senate for two years. During law school, Mrs. White worked in the Capital Law School Legal Clinic, handling criminal, domestic and landlord-tenant cases. She also assisted individuals with wills. As a legal intern, she also worked as an assistant prosecutor. She completed an externship with Judge Kay A. Lias in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic and Juvenile Division. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk at the Columbus law firm of Larrimer & Larrimer. As a member of the University’s Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Team, she competed in the Robert F. Wagner National Competition at New York Law School. The Wagner Competition is the nation's largest student-run moot court competition and the only national competition dedicated exclusively to the areas of labor and employment law. Mrs. White is dedicated to helping those with workplace injuries and disabilities. She has represented injured workers in thousands of hearings before the Industrial Commission of Ohio. Her practice focuses on labor and employment law with an emphasis on Ohio Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability law. She continues to be an active member of the Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ), the state's largest organization of plaintiffs' attorneys and is the immediate past Chair of the OAJ Workers' Compensation Section.
