Representative Experience Part of national trial counsel team handling a broad mix of litigation for Americas largest family-owned and operated food and hospitality provider with a fleet of over 1,300 semi-trucks and box trucks operating in 38 states. Obtained summary judgment for a national truck rental company enforcing the terms of the trucks lease on a claim for breach of a contract. Obtained dismissals in multiple matters representing residential real estate brokerages as a result of dispositive briefing. Represented a nationwide behavioral healthcare company in an action to enforce a non-compete, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreement against a former employee that resigned and immediately began working for a direct competitor in the same territory. Represented a large health insurer in an action involving misappropriation of trade secrets by a former employee. Obtained judgment in favor of a national payment solutions provider against an internet-based business for infringement of intellectual property rights and use of trademarks in violation of state and federal law. Assisted obtaining favorable settlements for wineries in actions pursuant to the Ohio Alcoholic Beverages Franchise Act. Selected and served as an arbitrator in a personal injury action. Developed and prosecuted high-exposure medical negligence and wrongful death claims against major health systems and health care professionals.
