Michael Hanna

He has arbitrated a wide range of issues including plant closings, severance pay, discipline, overtime, time study and general contract interpretation issues. Mike has counseled clients on remaining union-free and has assisted in a number of successful union election campaigns. His practice includes representation before the National Labor Relations Board on unfair labor practice matters. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1995 and multiple times in Ohio Super Lawyers. Mike counsels and represents employers nationwide in a broad range of safety and health matters as well as labor- and employment-related issues. He has extensive experience in litigation and counseling employers on ergonomics as it relates to the employment relationship. For two years, Mike was a featured speaker at the National Ergonomics Conferences. Additionally, he has handled a number of complex Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) matters including egregious penalty cases, significant willful citations and a number of OSHA investigations that did not result in any significant citations.
