Shawn Acton

As a partner at Kelley Ferraro, Shawn M. Acton protects the rights of people in Cleveland and across the state of Ohio. He handles cases that involve the following matters: personal injury, wrongful death, workers’ compensation, products liability, asbestos litigation and toxic torts.Mr. Acton graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dayton in 1997. He received a Juris Doctor in 2000 from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University.A personal injury can be devastating both physically and financially. In a recent case, he served as lead trial counsel for the family of a mesothelioma victim and secured a $20 million verdict. Mr. Acton is a Trustee and Member of the Ohio Association for Justice, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and, is a Life Member of The Judicial Conference of the Eighth Judicial District. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and Pennsylvania and before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
