About
Kimberlee Jo Kmetz is the founder of Kmetz Law LLC. From the firms office in Hudson, Ohio, she divides her practice among insurance defense and general business litigation, and the defense of workers compensation claims. Providing representation to clients throughout the state, Ms. Kmetz has been admitted to practice before all Ohio state courts since 1994. She is also admitted to practice before the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. In her insurance defense practice, Ms. Kmetz provides advice and counsel to both insurance companies and policyholders who have had claims filed against them due to alleged negligence in motor vehicle accidents and other incidents. Ms. Kmetz also furnishes aggressive advocacy for her employer clients whose employees have allegedly been injured on the job and who are seeking benefits under the companys workers compensation insurance coverage. She has appeared on their behalf before the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation after investigating the claims, and she advises companies of their rights and responsibilities in this area of the law. A native of Ohio, Ms. Kmetz attended Youngstown State University, where she majored in English literature and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1991. She then pursued her legal education at The University of Akron School of Law and was awarded her Juris Doctor in 1994.
