Joseph Miles

Joseph A. Miles has practiced in all areas of construction law in Miami since 1993. He focuses on assisting condominium associations and developers with all aspects of condominium association turnover litigation. He has extensive experience handling Chapter 558 claims and other construction defect/warranty claims involving water intrusion, design errors, defective materials, mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues, structural issues, construction delays and fire code deficiencies. He also represents his clients in insurance coverage disputes and assists them with the drafting and reviewing of construction contracts and other documents related to a construction project. Mr. Miles also has extensive experience litigating complex commercial business disputes outside the realm of the construction industry. Mr. Miles also represents numerous commercial property owners, REITS, and property management companies in conjunction with lease disputes and enforcement actions. He has filed numerous legal actions successfully seeking eviction, possession and damages in favor of those clients. Mr. Miles also has significant experience with Fair Standards Labor Act claims as well as multiple areas of general commercial litigation.
