As a complement to his litigation practice, Matt has significant experience in land use and environmental issues and has represented landowners, developers and adjoining owners in the regulatory process and the courts. Prior to joining the firm in 1994, Matt was an associate at the Boston law firm of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo, P. C. in its Litigation and Environmental sections. Matt is a past president of the Lawrence Bar Association (2001-2002) and the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Lawrence General Hospital (2013 - 2016). Matt is fluent in French.
