Mark R. Laverty, a founding Partner of Scolnick Laverty & Gouveia LLP, has been amember of the Massachusetts Bar since 1997. During this time, he has represented several national, regional and local real estate management companies and property owners in all the housing and district courts in Massachusetts. He specializes in landlord/tenant law and frequently consults with national real estate management companies regarding lease agreements, property management, fair housing matters and summary process/eviction matters. He has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution and extensive trial experience in Massachusetts housing courts, district courts and superior courts. He provides frequent seminars for national, regional, and local real estate management companies as well as property owners on recent developments in the law.
