After serving four years in the US Air Force as a Comm Officer, Michancy separated from active duty and attended law school at Villanova University School of Law. Upon graduation, Michancy sat for and passed the Nevada bar exam. She started her legal career in personal injury before transitioning to administrative and domestic matters. Michancy operated her own firm for eight years before joining another firm where her focus was primarily on domestic matters. In 2022 Michancy made the decision to return to civil litigation and joined LBBS as an associate attorney. Pro Bono & Philanthropy Michancy was appointed by a family court judge to serve as a pro bono Guardian ad Litem for minor children in a complex and highly contentious child custody matter. Military Service Michancy served four years in the US Air Force as a Communications and Information Officer prior to attending law school.
