Kimberly Guest is experienced in the area of Commercial Collections, Business Debt Recovery and commercial litigation.. She is in charge of creating and supervising the law firms section of Justice Court claims for creditors claims. Kims vast experience in creating and filing petitions, discovery, extensive deposition and witness preparation allows her to easily work through business and commercial debt collection efforts. Kim has prepared for and appeared at over two hundred Justice Court trials, as well as negotiated over four hundred out of court settlements with Defendants. She is also proficient in mechanics lien laws which includes notice letters, filing, and foreclosure actions. Her expertise also includes negotiation and preparing factoring agreements for clients, as well as redrafting credit applications, guarantees and contracts for bids. Kimberly has extensive real estate transaction experience, including tax exchanges and environmental concerns, and is knowledgeable with family law, including probate, wills, trusts, divorce and child custody. Kimberly graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she was involved in the Delta Gamma sorority. Kimberly is a member of the National Association of Credit Management and the Commercial Law League of America. She authored an article entitled, Ask Dr. Kim, which appeared in the National Association of Credit Managements monthly publication. View More
