Michael P. Di Orio

Michael graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Human and Organizational Development. He went on to earn his law degree from The Catholic University of America, setting the foundation for a distinguished legal career. Throughout his career, Michael has tried over 50 cases, consistently demonstrating a commitment to justice and doing the right thing, even when it is difficult. One of his proudest achievements is securing a guilty conviction for child molestation against a defendant whose defense at trial was based on his quadriplegia. This case stands as a testament to Michaels dedication, skill, and perseverance in the pursuit of justice. Michael is an active member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta. His excellence in the field has earned him recognition as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and inclusion in Best Lawyers in America. Coming from Providence, Rhode Island, Michael grew up in a family where his father was a doctor and his mother a nurse. With two older brothers, sports and outdoor activities were a significant part of his upbringing. When it came time for college, he chose to leave the Northeast, following in his brothers footsteps to attend Vanderbilt University. The biggest influence on Michaels life has been his wife, with whom he has spent more years with than without, shaping all his mature years. He is deeply inspired by his family, teachers, and coaches, who have played an important role in his personal and professional development. Michael is a proud father of three daughters and enjoys spending time with his family and their dog, Harriet. He values family time, finds joy in playing golf during his spare time and is a parishioner of Christ the King in Atlanta. Michaels life is guided by the principles of courage, perseverance, and loyalty. His greatest hope is to give his children a better life than the one he had, instilling in them the values he holds dear. He dreams of one day learning to play an instrument and mastering the Italian language. Michaels approach to life and his career is rooted in doing the right thing, regardless of the challenges.
