About
Andrea D. Harris MEMBERSHIPSPast Vice President of the New Mexico Womens Bar Association Board of Directors, New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico Child Mentorship Advocate Albuquerque Biography Raised in a small, rural community, Andrea Harris grew up in a law enforcement family. As a standout high school athlete, Ms. Harris gained a competitive spirit at an early age. Combining her law enforcement upbringing with her competitive spirit, Ms. Harris found her way to a career in the courtroom. Using the hard-working values she learned growing up, Ms. Harris attended Kansas State University and became the first person in her family to graduate from college. After graduating from the University of New Mexico School of Law, Ms. Harris developed a fierce passion for the representation of her clients. She specialized in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. At Valle, OCleireachain, Zamora & Harris, every case represents a person with their own individual injuries and harms, who needs a lawyer to understand them and communicate as their voice. Ms. Harris understands this and does not use a cookie-cutter approach to her cases; instead, she handles each case as if it were someone from her family or her small hometown. Her practice focuses on the rights of individuals in insurance bad faith cases, personal injury cases, wrongful death cases, and medical malpractice litigation. These are complex areas of law and I have the ability to help people who are at a disadvantage and feel helpless, Harris said. I believe its important that when you can do something to help, you should. Ms. Harris is admitted to practice before the New Mexico Courts, the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Ms. Harris is a past Vice-President of the New Mexico Womens Bar Association and is on the Board of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association. Throughout her career and life experiences, Ms. Harris has seen the value of mentorship and how it can help steer a young person in the right direction. As a result, she became involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico. She serves on the Board of that organization and advocates for child mentorship in the community. Ms. Harris enjoys trying new activities including traveling, sports, and even woodworking with her husband. Traveling is a passion for Ms. Harris who loves taking on new adventures and exploring new places. As a Kansas State University graduate, Ms. Harris is an enthusiastic sports fan and enjoys watching her alma mater succeed. Visit our Linked InREPRESENTATIVE CASESPatricia Trujillo v.
