Anthony Betta

Professional Experience Before moving with his family to Ohio in 2016, Anthony practiced law in New Jersey for several years. He has represented various clients in the state trial and appellate courts along with the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts. He has counseled business owners in breach of contract litigations and obtained judgments in corporate litigations, defended clients in actions brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and negotiated settlements on behalf of clients in asbestos litigations. Anthony serves industry professionals in several areas, including representing clients in Federal Court matters and partition actions, serving as counsel in receivership matters, representing clients in actions seeking relief under the Ohio Consumer Sales Practice Act, representing clients in commercial evictions and representing property owners in tax foreclosure matters. In addition, his experience includes drafting and arguing motions, deposing fact witnesses, deposing expert witnesses, preparing witnesses for trial, conducting direct examinations, and cross-examining witnesses at trial. Education Anthony received his undergraduate degree in history from Johns Hopkins University and his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law. While practicing in New Jersey, Anthony was a member of the local attorney ethics committee and the state and county bar associations. In 2021, he was elected to Helplines board of directors where he has served for 3 years. Personal Interests Anthony enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and exercising outside of work.
