Alyssa Marie Kersey

Alyssa Kersey handles premises liability, negligent security and personal injury matters. Leveraging Wilson Elsers scope and size and fostering a culture of collaboration, Alyssa provides clients with the highest-quality representation in all matters. She assists clients in preventing, mitigating and managing exposure through risk, crises and claims and litigation management. Prior to joining Wilson Elser, Alyssa gained extensive experience defending first-party property, personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, vehicle negligence, and bad faith and extra-contractual liability cases. Alyssa began her career as an Assistant State Attorney at the State Attorneys Office, Ninth Judicial Circuit. In that role, she represented the State of Florida in a variety of trials, including more than 45 combined first and second chair, ranging from criminal traffic and domestic violence to second- and third-degree felony cases. Alyssa gained valuable experience arguing suppression, Stand Your Ground, Violation of Probation, bond and pre-trial motion hearings. Education Barry University (J.
