Estate of Jon Edward Mendres, Sr. A19 A1475 In this matter, the personal representative of the estate failed to object to the Petition for Years Support filed by the widow of Mr. Mendres. In failing to object to the petition, the personal representative agreed to the petition. When the trial court ordered all property requested in the petition be given to the widow, the personal representative appealed the decision. The personal representative argued the order should be set aside as being inherently unfair. the Court of Appeals agreed with trial court and the year support order was upheld. Our client, the widow, received the marital home along with several bank accounts.
